Mr. Scheck oversees the day-to-day operations and the strategic planning of the Company's international luxury resort, real estate, and mixed use development opportunities. For the past four years he has performed due diligence, master planning, envisioning, research and development on several Island resort opportunities in The Bahamas and the Caribbean and is responsible for the company's long term strategy in developing luxury resort properties. Mr. Scheck is responsible for creating a collection of world-class destinations that truly link guests, members and owners to the local culture, surrounding settlements and the environment. He is a 3rd generation in the Industrial Construction business with more than fifteen years of related work experience in construction, project controls, operations, proposal development, maintenance services and project management. Since 1995, Rick has been involved with the operations of multiple departments; including project management, information technology & direction, human resources, marketing & communications, safety, administration and the power business unit. He remains involved with the ongoing sales and marketing efforts of Scheck's Industrial and Commercial projects. Rick is the Founder and Co-Chairman of the Betty Scheck Memorial Walk for Cancer, in memory of his late mother, which has contributed over $1,300,000.00 to benefit those fighting cancer and to improve early detection and research initiatives of the American Cancer Society. He is also on a committee of the Chicago Select Golf Invitational, which has raised in excess of $4,000,000 for the American Cancer Society, making it the largest ACS golf event in the United States. Rick and his wife, Megan, are actively involved in Hephzibah Children's Association who’s mission is "...to provide safety and care to society's most vulnerable children" and with the Marilyn G. Rabb Foundation who's mission is one of commitment to overcoming social and economic barriers and creating innovative programs that positively impact our communities. He is a graduate of Purdue University receiving his Bachelor Degree in Building Construction and Management. |
