Scheck Industries and former NASCAR Winston Cup champion Rusty Wallace announced recently that an agreement has been reached for the company to partner with Wallace for the 2004/2005 NASCAR Busch Series team with driver Billy Parker.

This agreement will make Scheck Industries, a national leader in industrial power and process piping and instrumentation services, an associate sponsor of the Busch Series team owned by Rusty Wallace, Inc. Racing (RWIR). The No. 66 Duraflame Dodge, which scheduled it's debut at the Sam’s Town 300 in March at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will run a limited schedule of 17 events in 2004. Barry Dodson, Wallace’s former crew chief during his 1989 Winston Cup championship campaign, will serve as team manager.

Although Scheck Industries has been a proud supporter of the Miller Lite No. 2 Car driven by Rusty Wallace which is sponsored by the United Association of Pipe Fitters, this new agreement marks the first time that Scheck Industries has ever been a sponsor of a NASCAR team.

“My father, Richard, has always taken an interest in fast cars from his young drag racing days in his 1958 Chevy Impala. Rusty and my father, Rich, both have a lot in common! Rusty is a first class person as well as driver and all of us at Scheck are proud to finally get the opportunity to be a part of his team,” stated Rick Scheck, Executive Vice President for Scheck Industries. “We have been a part of the NASCAR circuit of loyal fans for years and our partnership with Rusty Wallace, who is a proven champion, will provide a highly visible, but cost effective platform for our company to expand into new markets of our business through networking with clients, other sponsors and NASCAR’s brand loyal audience.
