Scheck Industries utilizes 2 of our owned fabrication facilities for pipe, modular, hanger, light metal, specialty sheet metal and vessel fabrication. These facilities are located in Kaukauna, Wisconsin and Huntington, West Virginia and total over 80,000 square feet of available fabrication area and three shift capability with an additional 100,000 square feet of fabrication area that is currently leased by Scheck. We can offer a significant cost reduction from that of a local fabrication facility by utilizing a composite crew and the craft rates in both areas are far less than that of local labor rates. Our Wisconsin and West Virginia fabrication facilities are currently pre-qualified with a wide range of clients located throughout the United States.
Both shops currently work under the U.A. National Pipe Fabrication Agreement, and both are charter members of the Pipe Fabrication Institute. Scheck holds the following stamps for work at both locations: “U”, “R”, “S”, “PP”. Also, both facilities have the ability to perform associated work that includes Non Destructive Examination, Hydrostatic Testing, painting, and post-weld heat treatment. Please feel free to request additional information about our fabrication facilities, we would be more than happy to arrange a site tour.
Scheck Industries has just completed two major pipe fabrication projects for two distinct petroleum refineries located in the Midwest regional market. All of the above projects involved “real-time” fabrication, in which the customer required pipe fabrication to be developed on a daily and weekly basis in response to existing changes on the project. Scheck, in both instances, coordinated the changes between their site teams and the Fabrication shops, thereby eliminating any requirements for additional deliveries, on-site labor costs for downtime, or project delays. Scheck maintains a policy of providing fabrication facilities to their own specific projects, allowing both fabrication facilities to offer incredible flexibility for both production and delivery schedules.
