Real Estate Development

The Quarry Corporate Center is nearing the final stages of redesign, and will soon be a reality. The Quarry Corporate Center will serve as the new 40,000+ square foot U.S. Headquarters for Scheck Industries and Scheck International. The tilt-up pre-cast structure will be located in Hodgkins, IL, less than two miles from the current headquarters in Countryside. The new building will provide Scheck with state-of-the-art training facilities including the latest in multimedia equipment for use in safety, technical, customer relations, and software systems training. Plans also include fitness facilities to encourage employees’ healthy living, a large cafeteria/break-room, and ergonomically designed office furniture and floor plans intended to reduce waste and redundancy. The company is also looking into the possibility of a LEED Certified building.  The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System^TM encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices.
