Working at Scheck since 2012, Scott monitors the day-to-day safety performance of the business unit. He most enjoys his interaction with people to safely complete tasks. He is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the J.A.W.S.™ program safety, health and environmental program. Scott studied at Millersville University. He has been with Scheck since 2012. When Scott is not at work, he enjoys time with family at the beach, hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
Judy has worked with Scheck since 2000 and is in charge of billings and serves as an executive administrative assistant. Her favorite part of the job is the variety of her tasks, as well as working with a great group of people. When she’s not at work, Judy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading, going for walks, listening—and singing along—to music.
Lisa has been with Scheck since 2005, handling payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She holds an Associate Degree in Accounting. The favorite part of her job is meeting new people. In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, NASCAR, and drag racing.
Assistant Project Manager
Patrick started working at Scheck in 2011. A member of Pipefitters 597, Patrick graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. The favorite part of his job is working with great people, and never having the same type of day.
Payroll/HR Director and 401(k) Administrator
Debbie joined Scheck in 2003. In her position, she oversees payroll, processes all tax returns and payments, and administers employee benefits. She also serves on the Scheck’s 401(k) Plan Committee. A graduate of Thornton College, Debbie also has held licenses in insurance, Series 7, and Series 63 training, and continues training in payroll and management. The best part of her job is math, taxes, and the people with whom she works. When she is not in the office, Debbie spends time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys politics.
Executive Assistant and Corporate Controls
Donna has been with Scheck since 2006. Her responsibilities are wide, ranging from accounting of payroll and union reporting to maintaining the vehicle fleet leasing program. Donna also monitors cell phone activity, is the travel administrator, and handles all office personnel-related tasks, such as Holiday list coordination, purchase of sports tickets, and golf outing donations. Donna loves numbers, and anything accounting-related is the favorite part of her job. In her free time, Donna enjoys watching football, and playing volleyball, racquetball, and pickle ball.
Argonne National Laboratory — Lemont, IL
Dennis joined Scheck in 2000. His responsibilities include bid projects in the HVAC and scientific studies at Argonne. He also supervises each project and ensures completion within budget. A graduate of Gateway Tech College, Dennis has continued training, including a steamfitter apprenticeship. The favorite part of his job is being able to see the project through, from bid to successful completion. When not working, Dennis enjoys golf and hunting.
Westmont, IL and Chesterton, IN
Charlie joined Scheck in 2013. His responsibilities consist of providing detailed estimates for projects of all sizes. Charlie has an Associate in Science. His favorite part of the job is the people he meets. In his free time, Charlie likes race cars and sports.
Instrumentation/Piping Site Lead
Brian has worked at Scheck since 2006, managing planning, field engineering, and work execution within the Flint Hills Resources maintenance, project, and turnaround groups. His favorite part of the job is solving problems. Brian holds an Associate in Instrument and Process Control, and an Associate in Industrial Electronics. He is a United Association Instructor Program and is certified in tube line fabrication. When he is not working, Brian is busy riding Harleys, four wheeling, skiing, golfing, playing softball, hunting, traveling, and farming.
Steve has been with Scheck since 2012, working as job site superintendent for Monroe Energy. He graduated from Steamfitter Local Union 420 Apprentice Program and is a member of Steamfitter Local Union 420. His favorite part of the job is working on different parts of the refinery to help keep it running. When not on the job, Steve likes to fish.
David joined Scheck in 2011. His responsibilities include project management, estimating, purchasing, scheduling, and sales. David has an associate degree. The favorite part of his job is bringing projects to a successful completion. When not in the office, David likes to spend time with his family. He also enjoys reading and working outside in his yard.
