Scheck Industries Recognized for Exceptional Safety Performance in the Workplace

At the 2016 National Safety Council Congress & Expo in Anaheim, CA, Scheck Industries was given a “National Safety Achievement Award” for multiple locations.  This award recognizes Scheck’s exceptional safety performance in the workplace.  The award was presented to us by the President & CEO of the NSC, Deborah A.P. Hersman.

Scheck Industries Recognized for Safety Excellence

Scheck was honored with the annual Zero Injury Safety Award (ZISA®) from the NMAPC (National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee). The ZISA® award is the premier safety recognition program in the union construction and maintenance industry.


Scheck Industrial Corporation Recognized for Safety Excellence

Scheck Industrial Corporation was awarded a Certificate of Safety Excellence by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and the Wisconsin Safety Council in recognition of its exceptional commitment to safety in achieving a perfect 2014 incidence rate.

Scheck Mechanical Corporation Recognized with the Contractor Award for Meritorious Safety Performance

AFPM Award for 2014 copyScheck was recognized with the Contractor Award for Meritorious Safety Performance. The award, presented by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers, was given to Scheck for achieving a Total Recordable Incidence Rate of “Zero” for 101,533 hours in 2014 at the Trainer Refinery of Monroe Energy.

Scheck Industries Recognized by TRMA for Meritorious Performance

TRMA-safety-photoThe Three Rivers Manufacturers’ Association member companies and the TRMA board of directors awarded Scheck Industries a 2014 Meritorious Performance Award for working without a recordable injury in 2014. The Meritorious Performance Award was presented for another year of safe and accident free work done at the ExxonMobil plant in Channahon.

Scheck is being recognized for its safety performance while working at TRMA facilities in 2014. This is the 21st year that TRMA has recognized companies for excellence in safety performance.

The Meritorious Performance Award is earned by contractors who achieve a total OSHA recordable instance rate of 0.6 or less while working at TRMA facilities, achieve an overall company recordable incidence rate of 2.0 or less, and have no work-related fatalities during the calendar year.

Scheck Technical Services, Inc. awarded a 2014 Thomas J. Reynolds Award for construction safety and health from The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC)

These prestigious safety awards recognize the outstanding achievements of our members to minimize the number of work site accidents, injuries and illnesses to their employees.  To be eligible for an award, your DART rate had to be below 1.65 which is 25% below the most recent Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) national average of 2.2.  Scheck was recognized with a zero DART Award.
