Scheck Industries And Friend’s Support American Heart Association To Honor Beloved Brother, Eddie Scheck Of Local Union 597

Eddie-Scheck

Eddie Scheck died too young at the age of 29 in 2007 but with the help of dedicated family and friends his spirit lives on in a big way just as Eddie lived his life. Eddie was quickly becoming a legendary member of the tight knit Chicago Pipe Fitters Local Union 597 brotherhood when he passed unexpectedly from a genetic congenital heart defect, which caused the passing of his younger brother and father as well.

Every year since 2007 Eddie’s closest friend and family gather to celebrate his memory and support the American Heart Association and recognizing the life of Eddie Scheck. This year the Crew gathered on a beautiful day – July 13th at Arlington Lakes Golf Club for a round of golf and a Party and as usual there was a strong turnout in honor of Eddie. The day was a mixture of smiles and tears especially when an airplane flew by with the banner, “We Miss You Eddie” as it does every year. At the post-round party the Chicago Bulls Bucket Boys entertained guests.

Eddie worked with his Uncle and Cousins at Scheck Industries, who have been a key supporter of the event, which is closing in on $50 K raised since the outing started.
